Why work for AFH?

Progressive and stable

AFH was founded in 1990 by chartered financial planner and CEO Alan Hudson. Today we have a 160+ strong adviser team serving approximately 10,000 clients, with around £3 billion assets under management, making AFH a progressive and stable firm to build your career with. Our in-house compliance team provides a framework of protection for you and your clients, ensuring you can deliver the results your clients need.

Dedicated in-house support

Our professional in-house teams will help you to deal with the increasing demands facing advisers such as client administration, technical support, report writing and training. Relieve the burden of lengthy paperwork so you can build your client base and focus on delivering the best possible mortgage advice.

Ongoing support and development

We pride ourselves on providing our advisers with continued professional development opportunities and training through our newly integrated learning management systems, alongside educating advisers about industry and market changes in our monthly consultant meetings.

Remain client focused

At AFH, our success and strategy have been built on maintaining and developing long-term relationships with our advisers and clients alike. Headquartered in the West Midlands, our adviser reach spans much of the UK, enabling us to serve clients regardless of location. Although we have grown rapidly through a number of carefully chosen acquisitions, our approach has always been to use our increasing scale and buying power to reduce costs for clients.

Hone your entrepreneurial spirit

If you want to gain specialist skills and experience, joining us as a mortgage adviser could be an important move for your career. We also offer ongoing training for individuals who want to become an IFA; you will be supported continuously as you work towards a full diploma. You can join us as a self-employed adviser, benefitting from excellent development opportunities and access to a strong support network. If you prefer the security of a regular income, then you may want to consider the employed adviser route. Visit our Become an IFA page to find out more.
