Sporty Steve is latest signing for AFH

Clients of a popular independent financial adviser should see an even better service in 2018, now he has joined one of the UK’s largest independent financial groups.

Steve White became an IFA in 1985 after a career in banking and insurance, and in 1989 set up his own business.

His practice prospered, and he now has around 200 clients in London and the Home Counties, Manchester, Devon and South Wales.

For many years he has supported Shine, the spina bifida and hydrocephalus charity, as well as Armed Forces charities.

A keen sportsman, Steve has played football and cricket to high standard and currently captains Buckinghamshire’s over-50s cricket team, who play in the National ECB competition each year. He also sponsors ‘Lightning Luke’ Richardson, the 14-year-old go-karting champion, who is a student at Tring School. Luke’s team Protrain Racing includes Michael Schumacher’s former head technician.

Steve said: “With the increasing rigours of regulation, I knew I could better serve my clients if I had access to the wealth of experience and support that AFH offers.

”The important thing is to have my clients successfully, seamlessly transferred to a great new home. I know that as part of AFH I’ll be able to offer then an even better service.”

The deal is the second expansion of 2018 for AFH, cementing the group’s position as one of the largest independent financial services firms in the country.
