About me

I have lived in Bishops Stortford for all of my adult life. I live with my partner and we have two wonderful boys.

It’s always been my long-term ambition to work in my home town which has now become a reality, it’s such a great feeling to be able to walk to and from work!

After a long and very happy career within the retail food industry and commuting into London for more years than I care to remember – working locally is just perfect.

In my spare time, I enjoy helping to organise social and fundraising events for the Bishops Stortford Canoe Club, it’s very enjoyable and rewarding, we are extremely lucky to have such a beautiful stretch of river in our town with a true abundance of wonderful wildlife, the river really is a very special and peaceful place.
