About me

After completing a BA in French and German at the University of Bristol in 2003, I moved back to the Midlands to undertake my training as an IFA and now live in Cheltenham, where I continue to provide Wealth Management advice to individuals, families, companies, and trusts.

I moved to AFH in 2008 because the firm had a market-leading, in-house investment service; this coupled with a depth of technical expertise and experience made for a compelling offering, and all these years later, I remain very happy within the firm.

Outside of work I am the England Teams Manager and was recently the Adjutant to the Great Britain Team for Small-bore Rifle Shooting for the Field Marshall Lord Roberts Match where we defeated the mighty American Team in August 2025 – this match only takes place every 8 years. I have represented both England and GB teams many times, and find this activity reflects many aspects of my work: commitment to detail, rigorously following a process, and maintaining high-level training delivers results – a podium finish is always a boon!

I am married to my wonderful wife, Esther, and have 2 teenage children; we live in Charlton Kings in Cheltenham and like to get stuck into local events such as supporting Balcarras School PTFA, and activities such as choirs, singing and concerts; the Jazz and Literature Festivals; and occasionally escaping for walks in the idyllic Cotswold countryside.
