Paying for your AFH services

As a firm committed to transparency and integrity, we’ll always be clear and upfront about all of the costs associated with the services you use.

Getting started on your journey with AFH

Meeting your adviser is the first step on your financial planning journey. This is an opportunity to get to know your adviser – and for them to get to know you. This free, no-obligation meeting is a great opportunity for you to learn everything you need to know about a financial advice journey with AFH.

Here at AFH, we know that the start of your journey can make all the difference. That’s why we get to know you, your circumstances, and your goals in a series of meetings completely free of charge. As part of our unique 6-step process, you will get to know your adviser, learn about your options and receive a full financial plan with our recommendations before you are charged for anything. If you decide to go ahead with the plan, we will be clear about all charges you will incur.

We work with you

Like any other regulated advice business, our fees are disclosed both verbally and in writing before you become a client with us. You’ll be provided with a Client Agreement Document (CAD) during step 2 of the process known as the Fact Find. The CAD is provided to you to help explain our charging structure. The fees for our financial advice service vary based on the quantity and complexity of the work involved.

Portfolio management with no hidden costs

Each of our services includes a structured annual review meeting which allows us to understand your personal circumstances and goals on an ongoing basis. We can help you to understand which service is best suited to you, including how regularly your portfolio is reviewed and whether we manage your portfolio on a Discretionary, Advisory or Oversight basis.

Costs and charges for our services will always be made clear to you before you sign any agreement. For each of our services, we charge an annual fee.  There may be additional charges should you wish to invest further sums of money or require new written financial planning advice, which we will agree with you at the time.

You may at any time cancel an ongoing service by serving us notice in writing. Once this has been done, future payment of any associated charges will cease.
