In a recent analysis by Trustnet, funds in the IA Europe ex UK sector were ranked by their ‘information ratio’, a measure of how much performance comes from manager expertise rather than market swings.
A score of 0.5 or higher signals strong risk-adjusted returns.Out of 36 funds meeting this benchmark, there were only 12 actively managed. Of these funds, our MGTS AFH DA European Equity Fund has claimed second place with an impressive information ratio of 0.8.
